Fire Safety

The University Fire Marshal is dedicated to a fire-safe campus and to fire safety awareness for the students and faculty at the University.

The "Exitpoint" directional sounder is a new life safety system installed in the new Multidisciplinary Research Facility on West Campus. It consists of speakers at all exits which are activated with the fire alarm to direct occupants to the exits. More information can be found at the Exitpoint web site.
